Update (4/9/02): Yeah, so it would appear that people are actually reading my story, so I will get my ass in gear, and write chapter nine. If anyone's wondering, Jerrafon is now sitting in Elminster's tower (Forgotten Realms). Sadly, I've got a couple games chewing up my time (Warcraft III Expansion Beta, Dead or Alive Beach Volleyball). Divide that time up with my house and playing D&D on the weekends... You can see where writing my little story would get bumped down. Still, join my mailing list, so you don't have to keep stopping by (though, you're welcome to!)
What's this all about?
I began writing this story back around April of 1997, with the intent that it would be further along than it currently is. Why am I putting it on the web? Well, partially so it gets written, and partially so that others can see it (and maybe give me a few hints).

As many of you may notice, I've used a number of pre-existing characters from TSR's various worlds and settings. While TSR might take exception at this, I do not claim to have written these characters myself, and will try my best to be respectful to said characters. Who have I used? Ao, Strahd, Azalin, Elminster, and a few of the gods (so far). These are some of my favorite personalities, and I hope they are yours, as well.

I have the greatest respect and admiration for the authors in the employ of TSR, and only hope to give a little something back to the community with this tale. That said, please enjoy what I have so far, and as time permits, I'll add more for your perusal.

You may ask, "What's the logic behind chapter length and/or content?" Well, I'm glad you asked, Timmy. Primarily, I try to keep the chapters short, so my story looks longer that it doesn't take as long to download, and you're not staring at your screen very long to read a chapter. As for the content, I envision that any events happening in a given chapter are happening simultaneously. So while Ao was addressing the gods of Faerûn, Strahd was coming to grips with seeing the object of his desire, his beloved Tatyana. Or, that's how my chapters are supposed to work.
